Our Beliefs
Our statement of doctrine and faith is derived from
the Bible as those generally held by fundamental Baptist churches.
Our Pastor
Married for 37 years, Allisa and I were saved 34 years ago shortly after the birth of our first of three children.
We have been privileged to be members of churches in New York, Iowa and Minnesota, ministering in various capacities from nursery workers, grass cutter/snow plow guy, song leader, Sunday School teachers, youth leaders, deacon and now for the past twenty years serving as pastor of Heritage Baptist Church.
Through out our time in ministry we have sought to maintain a dual perspective about service. First, that God has called us into these ministries to use them in our lives to conform us to the image of His Son unto His Glory. Second, to understand what a privilege it is to be used in ministry, whatever that ministry might be. we have failed in maintaining that perspective more than we care to admit, but like the Apostle Paul, we press on, that we may hold of that for which Jesus Christ has also laid hold of us (Phil 3:12)..
